I have linked you on both of my public blogs. The first is http://teenboyissues.blogspot.com/ which as the name suggests deals with issues including bullying, suicide, etc.

The second is http://getalife-philyabootz.blogspot.com/ which details my sexual development and four occasions in which I was abused (twice by males, twice females). One occasion was severe and impacted on me for a long time.

This is in the post http://getalife-philyabootz.blogspot.com/2009/06/agony-and-ecstacy-part-5.html I never told anybody of the incidents, nor have I ever seen a therapist.

I have found however that by going over these incidents and writing them down has in itself acted as a kind of therapy. I only wish I had done it sooner because for years I was very angry and have had a deep sense of shame, somehow blaming myself and the world at large for an event that effectively ruined my life.

Ruined in the sense I was considered a good student with a bright future but I threw it all away because of the emotional turmoil I was experiencing.

I hope your blog is successful it is difficult to get through to victims of abuse and build up their self-esteem and self-confidence after experiencing such harrowing incidents.

Thanks Phil: I do know one of your blogs and much of what you write is clearly on the same wavelength of the stories on our Pages here.

Thanks for your support and for linking to us to help spread the word.

You're always welcome to comment here or email us with your thoughts and reactions.
